Albury Family Day Care Operator's Appeal Against Fraud Conviction
Further to my previous blog, Melissa Higgins appeal against her conviction was heard by the NSW Court of Criminal Appeal on Thursday. According to a report in The Border Mail, she was unsuccessful in overturning her conviction after arguing
she was victim of racist and derogatory comments made by jurors including use of the
word "bogan" during her initial trial. ABC Online also carried a story on the appeal.
