According to information published on the West Australian Department of Communities' website, Nahid Mosa Hamouda Eltom was was convicted at the WA Magistrates Court on 15 October of contravening section 295(1), National Law by
providing attendance records for six children to an authorised officer of
the Department, knowing those records were false or misleading in
claiming the attendance of the children on days they did not attend. Ms Eltom was ordered to pay a fine of $3,000 and $1,628.10 in legal costs.
